    Project Coordinator

    As a Project Coordinator, you will assist our account managers and project managers by helping them execute print projects including material sourcing, managing deadlines, and ensuring on-time delivery. Your work will be detail oriented with a strong emphasis on creating and managing work tickets and delivery grids in our industry specific point-of-sale software and Excel.

    As we work across many mediums and industries for our clients, this is a position for someone who enjoys a challenge that varies from day to day and wants to grow within a fun, creative and growing business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create work tickets, purchase orders, workback schedules and delivery grids for graphic projects
    • Help plan projects in order to meet timelines and budget
    • Research materials, substrates, processes and vendor partners for unique and complex projects
    • Collaborate with fulfillment and accounting departments to ensure projects ship on time and on-budget
    • Assemble and gather assets, materials, and other project needs
    • Monitor and report on project status to account managers and project managers
    • Interface with client as directed
    • Problem solve and help meet/manage client expectations
    • Assist other team members or departments when directed

    Required Skills:

    • • 1-3 years of project coordinator or similar operations experience in a large format printing or sign shop environment
    • • Creative thinker and problem solver
    • • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of Adobe Design software
    • • Self-motivated and skilled at building relationships
    • • Thorough understanding of large format substrates, printing processes, materials, installation and fulfillment
    • • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • • Extreme attention to detail, especially in managing paperwork such as purchase orders, delivery grids, and work orders
    • • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task quickly and effectively
    • • Adaptable and self-motivated yet able to take direction
    • • Must be able to work in a fast paced, extremely deadline-driven environment

      Pre-Press Operator / IT Support Specialist

      Forge Graphic Works is a group of highly skilled, creative thinkers who design and produce retail graphics and consumer experiences. We do work for big brands and small companies alike, specializing in designing and printing large retail campaigns, event graphics, retail displays and other marketing programs. We work hard but have fun designing and producing really cool stuff.

      As our Pre-Press operator / IT Specialist, you will support existing leaders in each department as needed. Pre-Press work includes working with the project management and production staff to prepare supplied design files for final print, pre-flighting and troubleshooting files, converting files to Press-ready PDFs, and working with our RIP software to ensure color accuracy across many different machines.

      IT work includes working on employee computer / software issues, helping maintain and update social media platforms / website, and helping our IT manager maintain our network and A/V infrastructure.

      To be considered for this role, you must be equally proficient in Mac OS and PC computer environments.

      As we work across many mediums and industries for our high-profile clients, this is a position for someone who enjoys a challenge that varies from day to day and wants to grow within a fun, creative, and growing business.

      Responsibilities:

      • Prepare supplied art files for final print
      • Trouble shoot client art files
      • Ensure color accuracy and consistency of output across all our machines
      • Respond to employee IT support requests and outages, keep all employee hardware and software up to date
      • Troubleshoot Mac and PC hardware/software issues throughout shop
      • Arrange and implement office moves and user account administration, including on-boarding and off-boarding
      • Ensure company website and social platforms are up to date and current

      Required Skills:

      • At least 3-4 years of pre-press experience, preferably in a large format printing or sign shop environment
      • Extreme attention to detail
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task quickly and effectively
      • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
      • Ability to configure and administer MacOS and Windows systems according to industry best practices
      • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of company equipment and hardware including computers, printers, cell phones and other peripherals
      • Strong computer skills

        Part-Time Administrative Assistant

        Forge Graphic Works is a group of highly skilled, creative thinkers who design and produce retail graphics and consumer experiences. We work hard but have fun designing and producing really cool stuff.

        As part-time Administrative Assistant you will report to our controller to support the day-to-day accounting and HR operations for the company, as well as provide administrative support to senior management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to take direction, as well as possessing a passion for improving, growing and learning. This position is part-time but is anticipated growing to be a full-time position for the right candidate.

        Responsibilities:

        • Answering phones & greeting visitors
        • Provide tier one support for employees’ HR related questions and onboarding/off boarding
        • AP: Invoice matching (3-way) & company credit card program clerical support
        • AR: Assist with customer billing & credit card payment processing
        • Filing (paper & electronic) & scanning documents
        • Open, sort and distribute incoming mail and run company errands
        • Assist senior management with managing time off calendars, scheduling meetings/interviews
        • Perform other duties, as assigned, including special projects in other departments and office maintenance

        Required Skills:

        • Exceptional customer service skills (on the phone and in person) with internal and external clients
        • Must be computer savvy and proficient in basic office tools (Email, Internet, Excel/Word) as well as basic familiarity with QuickBooks desired
        • Detail oriented - ability to identify inconsistencies – as well as strong organizational skills
        • Discreet - ability to work with confidential documents & conversations
        • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
        • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
        • High school diploma/GED, some college preferred, certifications desired
